Jackie Chan stars as Lin, a Special Forces agent in modern Hong Kong. While on a mission to evacuate a specialist in bio-chemical weapons, Lin’s team is ambushed by a deranged, mechanically enhanced villain and Lin is left on the brink of death. Years later, the publication of an epic sci-fi novel sets in motion events that have Agent Lin once again fighting the very same enemy, while trying to save the life of a young woman, who has unknowingly become a crucial piece in the supervillain’s deadly plans.
