Upon learning That his adopted son, Posthumus, has married his only daughter, Imogen, King Cymbeline, leader of the Briton Motorcycle Club, banishes the young man. Cymbeline’s beautiful second wife is secretly poisoning the King while plotting to have her son, Cloten, replace Posthumus in Imogen’s affections. In exile, Posthumus meets up with Iachimo, a seductive man who bets he can seduce Imogen while her husband is away. Posthumus rashly accepts this wager. When Iachimo presents false evidence that he’s slept with Imogen, Posthumus reacts with insane jealousy and orders his wife’s death–‐but Imogen flees, protected by Pisanio, a double agent for the King and Queen. In despair and on the run, disguising herself as a boy, Imogen is adopted by a righteous Unabomber–‐type character named Belarius, living off the grid with his two sons. Meanwhile, Cymbeline’s crystal met hempire is jeopardized when the Queen and Cloten persuade Cymbeline to resist the corrupt cops who require a cut of the profits. War is declared.
