David Hendrix is a former SWAT leader who has failed to receive medical clearance after taking a bullet on the job. As a result, he has been temporarily seconded to the NYPD. Down on his luck and facing a mid-life crisis, David is eagerly waiting for the day when a doctor will allow him to perform the duties that his former job requires, despite his own belief that he is fully capable.
Brody Walker is the complete opposite. A former Disney kid on the rise, he’s cocky, narcissistic, enjoys a glamorous lifestyle, and is currently making the transition into action films. But weeks before the biggest film shoot of his career, Brody has a violent altercation with the paparaazi. In an attempt to protect his image and save his job, Brody’s management arranges for him to shadow a police officer and prove that he’s capable of rehabilitation. Against David’s wishes, he is paired up with the child star and together, the two patrol the streets while trying to put up with one another.
As Brody’s sanctioned ride-along comes to a close, David arranges for the pair to visit an advanced training facility just outside of town; a place that is closed off and unknown to all members of the public. But what begins as a routine stop quickly transforms into a crisis of national security as armed mercenaries stage an attack, killing most of the security detail, and seize control of the perimeter in an attempt to retrieve unknown valuables held within the facility.
Now, David and Brody must band together with the remaining survivors, using every weapon and tool at their disposal, to survive the night and keep the mercenaries from overtaking the compound… if they don’t kill each other first.
